Albert’s Landing

What a glorious day, As much as life can drag you down, a day at the bsy can soften the blows. Escapism. The sound of gentle waves collapsing on the shore. A seagull waiting for anyone to bring out their picnic baskets. It just keeps looking over, rudely staring. He's a perfect prop for the vignette before me - a living, breathing screensaver. Endless miles of ocean, Gardiner's Island, a sliver of natural bliss... Captain Kidd folklore lives there. We live here, the East End. Feeling lucky to be alive.
