I always think a good lounge chair is one of life's little pleasures. It's such a nice feeling sinking your tired body into one and then enjoying that precious moment of relaxation at the end of the day, isn't it?
The Birdy chair is handmade from wood, liana and leather. The dried liana is made flexible and easy to handle via running it through hot water steam and wrapped onto the wood frame. The liana is extremely durable after it dries. Look at those curves!
Here we've lined up 4 lounge chairs that not only serve that main function but, more importantly, are set out to surprise us with their unconventional design.

The Splash chair idea is quite obviously inspired by the image of water splashes. It is made from fiberglass coated with Bondo.
The Barca lounge chair was created by Jakob Joergensen. The piece was made by sliding the identical ash boards around to form the semi-spherical beautiful shape we see.
