The Final Stretch

We've got a huge final night planned here at Postopolis! LA, after an incredibly interesting Day Four (which you can read about via our Twitter feed, @postopolis). Days One and Two, meanwhile, have been written up by our erstwhile scribe, Dan Hill, over at his blog City of Sound – including full-length posts about presentations by Fritz Haeg and Patrick Keller – and Jace Clayton and Régine Debatty have both written up a few thoughts about Day One, as well. So definitely check those out.

Before I get to tonight's schedule, though, let me point out that I know some of you had trouble getting into the hotel last night, and at least two of you were even turned away at the elevator by bouncers. First, I'm hugely sorry – and embarrassed – that this happened, but we had, in fact, worked everything out for people to access the roof and see the show. It seems, however, that there are some communication issues amongst the different teams involved – from we scattered Postopolitans to the hotel events crew to the building manager to the security guards – and something was lost along the way.
So, again, I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
My advice tonight is thus to please arrive before 7pm, as this will avoid all issues of access and so on. Even better, I believe there will be free vodka drinks from 5pm-7pm, so that's all the more reason to stop by. But please do consider arriving before 7pm so that there is no issue with a cover charge or anything of the sort. Thanks for understanding – and apologies for anyone adversely affected last night.

Photographer Gregg Segal is out of town on a photo shoot, unfortunately, so he won't be able to make it to the panel he was originally scheduled for; but check out his website, to see his excellent and ongoing commercial photographic work.

Again, bear in mind that it has been getting very cold up there, so consider bringing a warm jacket; you will not regret it.
