They’re industrial, sleek, and built just for grown-ups! So, go ahead — grab a hammer and proudly hang your “No Kids Allowed” sign outside the door. An outdoor modern treehouse is a great escape and a tranquil addition to your contemporary home!
These treehouses by Baumraum, a company in Germany that constructs state-of-the-art treehouses, are like no treehouses I’ve ever seen! They’re beautiful enough to serve as a guest room!
These tree houses are not for recreation, but rather actual homes that were constructed among the trees! The two images below are of a modern tree house that is nestled in the woods. Resembling a Japanese lantern, it was designed by Lukasz Kos in Ontario, Canada.
This tree house looks like something out of a science fiction movie! By Sybarite in London, it has a modular system and panoramic windows, so the picturesque view can be enjoyed from every room of the home! According to Sybarite, “The prefabricated design can be installed on site within two weeks and is extremely lightweight, uses many recycled products, is part self-sustainable and low on maintenance.â€
