Sustainable Residential Development in Kuala Lumpur

This stunning new residential development being planned for the Putrajaya waterfront just 30km south of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, caught my eyes . The designers, Studio Nicoletti Associati and Hijjas Kasturi Associates , drew their inspirations from traditional Islamic design and the marine to come up with these one-of-a-kind structures.

Sustainable strategies like terraces, sunshades, natural ventilation and integrated green space are key elements in this development. These buildings will source from alternative energy and are expected to produce 50% less CO2 emissions than similar residential projects.
