When he's not living in his West Village loft, performer and photographer Joel Grey (Cabaret , Wicked , Brothers & Sisters ) resides in a 650-square-foot former surf shack in Venice, California. The New York Times takes a peak into the simple, pared-down space that was built in the 1920s. True to its beach roots, the home has no heat or air conditioning. With wooden floors and white walls and ceilings, the home is an ideal canvas for displaying Mr. Grey's artwork and collections...
