Trolling through our email we stumbled upon these great pics from Jeanine, who just started as one of our brand new Boston bloggers (she sent in this email in March!). It not only shows an impressive piece of work, we love the offbeat use of Chinese mailbags, which give these traditional chairs a much more contemporary look...
I wanted to show you my new favorite flea market chair upholstered with some canvas mailbags from China that I dissected. I'm taking an upholstery class and found these mailbags when it was time to look for fabric and they worked out perfectly! Oh yeah, the ottoman is upholstered in a gray bathmat..
