How to Divide a Room or hide a Home Office Stylishly

Remember when a door was just a door? A slab of wood with hinges and handles? And a wall was just a wall? Permanent? Plaster and paint? Opaque?
When I lived in New York, I found the tiny studio I lived in needed to be divided into two: one for the living space and one for the bedroom. It was an odd shape so it didn’t have that tiny “loft” feeling, thus lent itself to the plan. Unfortunately, back then, there weren’t such amazing options. My dad came in and put up a wall that was too cumbersome. I wish I had some of the options available today! Here are some that I would have considered should I have needed to hide a home office or break up a studio:
