Virginia Johnson

Light, airy, and colorful... there's something about the textile designs of Virginia Johnson that says summer. Inspired by her love of nature and travel, Johnson creates her textiles by painting watercolors on paper which are then block-printed on to fabric. The bright, punchy-colored prints appear on summer-weight cotton voile home and fashion pieces by Johnson like pillows, tunics, and dresses. And when the summer heat gives way to cooler temperatures, keep warm in the gorgeous camel wrap-- an earthy brown and creme print shawl in merino wool.
