We've featured various Do It Yourself projects from Instructables.com before: the DIY Book Lampshade and How To...Make Hungarian Shelves. We just stumbled across Instructables member Daniel Saake's plans for a dodecahedron pendant lamp made from 12 of IKEA's inexpensive $4.99 LAMPAN lamps...
It looks simple enough from the online instructions (pdf). There are also instructions for a jack-like 6-LAMPAN lamp and a gigantic 32-LAMPAN lamp! Be sure to read all the comments and suggestions for low-wattage bulbs on the Instructables page.Via: notcot.org.
