We try our best to make this website as usable and accesible as possible, we like to browse fast, not wasting any time.
This concept of this website is developed and designed by Jurgen Oldenburg and Walter Tamboer. Jurgen developed the concept, and has done all graphical design and markup. He is also responsible for mostly of the textual and colorscheme content of the site.
PolyVore
Polyvore is a unique, easy-to-use web-based application for mixing and matching products from any online store. Items are pulled together into a visual set of products that can be shared with anyone. Each product within the set is then linked back to the online store where it is available for purchase.
Polyvore is often described as “highly addictive” by those who fall in love with it’s collaging functionality and spend hours creating sets to share with others. Polyvore thus offers an unprecedented level of direct engagement with real products and brands, while its social features make it a powerful platform for the creation and distribution of user-generated advertising.
The Visual Dictionary is a collection of words in the real world. Photographs of signage, graffiti, advertising, tattoos, you name it, we’re trying to catalogue it.
We started the project in February 2006, and have since racked up over 5000 images of over 3000 words - thanks to everyone who has contributed to date. We’re of course, still accepting entries, as the Dictionary should just continue growing forever, but we’re starting to think about ways of navigating and browsing images now.
Cl1p | Copy and Paste between computers easily!
Copy and paste between computers in three easy steps
1. Enter a URL that starts with http://cl1p.net.
example: http://cl1p.net/unruffled/
2. Paste in anything you want.
Some text or even a small file. Click ‘Save’ when done.
3. On the other computer open a browser to the same URL.
You will find the information you entered in step 2.
No signup, no login. Just enter any URL that starts with cl1p.net. That’s it!
The idea behind LocateTV is simple - to let you find TV shows available where you live in the world, be they on broadcast TV, online or on recorded media (DVD, HD-DVD etc).
