Evelyne Huytebroeck, the Brussels Minister of Environment
and Tourism, last January launched a call to designers to
participate in the third ParckDesign competition.
By way of reminder, the aim of this competition is to
encourage designers to imagine and conceive of innovative
urban furniture to be placed in three green spaces in
the city.
50 proposals have been submitted. The tendency for an
international interest in this competition has continued: submissions have been received from the Netherlands,
France, Germany and even Poland.
From Tuesday, 11 March until Wednesday, 19 March at 12
noon, the public at large can choose the proposal they
prefer and make comments on the website.
