My home away from home is at ColourLovers.com. I go there to make palettes, experiment, comeraderie and to get inspired. For this mellow month of November, these are the 10 best Palettes I found with a quick comment to tell you why I think so.
Comment: Definitely a surprising blend effect from Magenta through an almost primary green. It also has a punk feel to it that I love without being "I hate the world." It's more like, "I see the world differently than the rest."
This palette is so American - not in a patriotic way, but in the clean and crisp way that Mary McConnell revolutionized fashion when all the rage was Paris and Milan such a long time ago.
If ever there was the perfect Web 2.0 color combo, Smith Grind is it. It's perfectly balanced with dense gray and black against Apple green and an ethereal mint. White plays the impeccable foil. I want to make a website using these colors soon.

Oceanic deep blues gradiently peak at fresh wheatgrass green... soothing and smoldering at the same time. Not an easy feat.
Melons and Berries is a very sophisticated palette. I can see it as a sleek evening gown, a jaguar sedan or even a new eyeshadow combo... whatever you use this for, it's for the shiny people who know quality.
I want to repaint my entire house against this palette. Window coverings and giant abstract artwork in the black, walls of sandy taupe and eggshell, a giant sleek sofa in the rusty salmon - all very Jean-Michel Frank and very calming. Armani would love this palette.
Talk about sexy. There is something so nostalgic about this palette -- or de ja vu... perhaps it feels like the one who got away, a forbidden kiss or heartbreak. I don't know what it is but it moves one to the core. I want this in nail lacquer pronto.
A bit of comic relief -- Adult women these days love to dress like tweens... these tones would work in satin for a number of ensembles: empire waisted minis, hobo tiered skirts, super skinny trousers. Accessories: cellphone covers, ipods, leather gloves, sunglasses, lip gloss... it screams Paris Hilton but not stupid. It's fun and European at the same time.
IMHO, these are HOT color palettes for any number of markets.
