I've been experimenting with the subtle movement of color when blended with hues very close to each other. Here are the ones I liked the best:
Like any gradient, a color can literally "come to life" when used monochromatically in a palette that seeks to use use its power of affectation. One color affects the other, ying yang.
In web design, I think even when you use one color for a header and another for the background, and another for the footer, you will still find that the overall look of the web page will be breathing on its own by the sheer power of color's synergy.
